Narrators

The people who read the books. Everyone we hold more than one recording of has a page.

A page here is a credits list with our own figures attached to each credit: which book, which recording, what our verdict on that book is, and where the reading stands on our shelf wherever at least 250 people have rated it. It is never a score for the narrator: a verdict is a claim about a format and belongs to the book, and where a reading stands is a claim about one recording. Neither is a claim about a working life, so you will not find a best-narrators list on this site. One reading is not a page, so a voice needs two before it gets one, and everyone else is named on the book pages they read.

Counted from the shelf, not curated. A voice joins this list the moment we hold a second reading of theirs, and nothing here is ordered by how good we think anybody is.
